CAMILLA MAXWELL (JEAN) is an Australian native who found her way to Buffalo via Brooklyn. This is her debut at the Kavinoky Theatre, and she is honored to be appointed in her prestigious role as the press secretary for The White House. She holds a Bachelor of Media (Writing Stage/Screen) from Macquarie University in Sydney and is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in New York City. Maxwell is a resident artist and former board member of Mind The Gap Theatre Company (Manhattan) and is head of the directors wing at First Look Buffalo Theatre. Camilla has been in theatrical productions and television and print commercials worldwide, and is also an internationally published and award-winning playwright and screenwriter. Buffalo credits include American Repertory Theater’s White Devil, Alleyway Theatre’s Buffalo Quickies, and New Phoenix Theatre’s The Red Dress.
